2013 Vasques de Carvalho

Bottle 5908 of 6129 produced. Deep purple in colour. A hint of fresh grass o the nose. Sweet fruit but the tannins are very aggressive and very green with the acidity searing. The balance of the palate is wrong. The acidity on the finish is huge, and the finish is very, very long. 86-88/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
