20% opacity, brown-red with a yellowish rim. Soft nose, ripe strawberries. Lively entry on the palate, nicely balanced, and soft red fruit. Very nice port.

Mature brick red, 30% opaque. Gentle on the nose, a little harsh rose hip and sweet hawthorn perfume. Delicious mature fruit on the palate, redcurrant syrup; gentle flavours at first then a big dose of harsh acidity bringing sweet fruit and cigar tobacco. Spicy, peppery aftertaste with a long finish of concentrated redcurrant syrup. 90
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

SW66. Re-pink, 30% opaque. Soft and unctuous. Fully mature. Mid weight, long and lovely.
