1990 Barao de Vilar Colheita

Pale barley-sugar orange, 10% opaque. Faint on the nose, offering hints of being a colheita port. Lovely texture, full of flavour on the palate: delicious, youthful and lively yet with a good balance. A huge finish. A relatively light style of colheita, very sweet but still attractive. 87/100. 22-Apr-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
