1995 Ferreira LBV

A half bottle from the planned historic LBV release planned for later in 2016. Bottled unfiltered. A nose of mature stewed fruit. Ripe fruit on the palate, a touch stewed but otherwise nicely balanced. A hint of over-ripe blueberry with gentle tannins, elegant and refined. A delicious and mature port. 88/100. 22-Apr-16
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
