2011 Ferreira LBV

Bottled 2015. Deep red with a narrow rim. Floral nose with lavender and rose petals. Violets on entry with big tannins and big fruit - and lots of acidity. Great fruit and tannins on the finish. A huge wine, very powerful and very unusual for a Ferreira style port. 91/100. Drunk 22-Apr-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
