1975 Feuerheerd Colheita

From Barao de Vilar. Russett orange colour, 20% opaque. Powerful nose, rich and intense. Fruit led entry with burnt toffee and masses of orange and crepe suzette. Enormous palate with intense acidity balanced by terrific fruit. Huge finish. A very impressive colheita. 94/100. Drunk 22-Apr-16.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
