2009 Niepoort Bioma

Narrow magenta rim. Fresh blueberry fruit and a powerful nose. Fruit forward entry with powerful tannins. Very grippy with great acidity on the palate. A big palate. Huge tannic grip on the aftertaste. This is a port with a massive structure and an immense opulent fruit finish. 93/100. 22-Apr-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
