From Barao de Vilar. Reddish brown with a hint of olive on the rim, 20% opaque. Nosing of almonds and marzipan with a hint of apricot jam. Sweet entry, honey and grapefruit with the grapefruit leading to a bitter finish. 86/100. 22-Apr-16
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
