1999 Sandeman Vau

Mature red colour, 90% opaque. Delicious nose, poised and with plenty of sweet fruit. The sweet fruit leads the entry, which is balanced with good acidity and soft tannins. More weight that the Quinta da Leda port from the same vintage but still a touch of lightness to it. Nice development of fruit on the palate and a pepper finish. 85/100. 22-Apr-16
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
