Unfiltered and unfined. Deep red with a touch of brick and a medium rim. Subdued nose giving a hint of ripe fruit. Ripe but restrained fruit on entry; modest fruit and modest tannins. Gentle fruit aftertaste. A soft port and modest LBV. 87 04-May-16
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
