Deep red with a medium rim. Sweet bubble gum smell in the glass, soft and fine. Sweet fruit, ripe and rounded; the gentle tannins that lurk in the background jump to the fore when mixed with air and give this port a great palate presence. Lovely sweet fruit finish. A nice ruby port. 86/100. 04-May-16
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
