Dark crimson and opaque. A fragrant nose of over-ripe blueberry and a touch of blue cheese from the spirit. Smooth entry bringing ripe fruit, blackcurrants and tannins which are slow but powerful. Delicious sweet and ripe fruit leads on a big aftertaste and the finish is full of wonderful ripe fruit throughout the good length. Really easy to drink right now! 91/100. 04-May-16
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
