The Silence of the Lambs was released in February of 1991, but that means it was not eligible for the Academy Awards until 1992.
Ergo, 1992 is my guess.
FWIW, I don't believe that 1992 is considered a general declaration. Isn't it generally considered a split declaration with 1991?

I don't know that it is what you'd call a classic pairing with Port, but it is a reasonably common dish prepared with Port. I've seen several different recipes for it and have made one myself. What she gave me is the main ingredient.

Correct! She has a pear tree in her backyard that I never knew about until this year. I've made Port-poached Pears in the past and the recipe is quite good, so I mentioned it to her and she brought me some of this year's harvest.AHB wrote:Pears

While I am confident that I could have as many pears from my mother-in-law's tree as I would like, that tree is 50 miles away. And sadly, my yard is far too small to support another tree so I cannot simply plant one myself.
