Have as little faulty Ports as possible.

Best wishes

Thanks Axel - sounds like you'll be having a good time too!

Taylor 1970 and Warre 1966 safely deposited at Woolgate. Alex there also confirmed he has ordered additional glasses to give us the full requirement.

Should placenames be included in the paperwork, in turn necessitating that Names be formatted as ‘Julian W.’ rather than ‘JDAW’?
Did I ever reply to this...don't think I did. I think placenames would be useful as there are several new attendees. Names are: Mike, Charles, Julian, Phil, Ian, Alex, Rupert, Chris, Stephen, Rob and Tony.

I think there may be a glitch in the matrix. Was it the same cat?

On the pdf of the placemats, all the attendees have 36 stickers, starting from "I" and ending with "W77". Everyone, that is, except for AHB and AJA. Their stickers start at "II". Do I get a Blue Peter badge for spotting this?

Blue-Peter badge-tastic!

I will investigate.

Thank you for spotting that error in the code, which has been fixed. Also, as requested, the format of the names has been changed.

Please re-inspect the placemats.

Thank you - everything seems to be in order. Roll on Wednesday evening.

When doing the blinding part of the decanting, the final over-staple is of the numbered cards. If number VII seems to be missing, that might be because I just noticed it on the floor. Oops. I’ll bring it.

I think just one. A bottle from Stephen has been delivered by you, and you mentioned Chris was bringing two. That leaves one spare slot I believe.

The layout of the last sheet does allow improvisation of some additional spaces. Presumably the F66 will take the 4th space?

The F66 is not appearing. G70 coming instead.

The first post doesn’t mention an official start time. Failing contrary instruction, I’ll assume 6½pm.

Quite looking forward to this. Expecting it to be just at the sweet spot.

Good assumption. First pot updated.

Remember everyone, we are at Woolgate tonight, not the B&F.

T66 (bottled for the the Wine Society) and G66 (bottled by Justerini & Brooks) both decanted at around 6.15am. Not sure what shape they're in (was in too much of a rush) but didn't detect anything amiss. Aiming to be there at between 5pm and 5.30pm (Woolgate being a little closer than the B&F).

G70 (unknown English bottler, pesky rubber capsule) double decanted at noon and now at B&F.

There's also an unopened backup G70 (Oporto bottled, looks like it was shipped in 90s / 2000s) if that bottle proves to be faulty or uninspiring with air - feel free to use discretion on set-up.

Plus a backup D77 just in case we need another shot at a TCE-free bottle (again, feel free to use when setting up if the original btl is problematic - though obviously can't guarantee this one would be any better than the original...)

Fantastic Rob - many thanks. Just to check though, did you leave all this wonderful stuff at the B&F or at Davy's Woolgate?

Good question. The one in the City near Guildhall/Moorgate station where the RP event was held last year. They were definitely setting up for a port event and didn't seem surprised by the bottles being deposited...
