Remember to wear a basque whilst thinking of a question.

The bottle is a White's of Leicester 1873. I have never been able to trace anything about them but presume they were wine merchants in a place not far from where I live. I had two bottles but now only have one.

A fine question. Whilst waiting for the next, say when you bought it.

I don't have records that far back but I would guess it was in 2003. Prior to then I bought things to drink, not to keep. In 1999 I owned fewer than 12 bottles that were mostly purchased on a holiday to Portugal that year and all of which are now gone. The WoL1873 came in a batch that included the Fonseca 1920 that we shared at The F-Plan tasting.

Sticking to the actor theme.

My mother's oldest sister used to go out to play with which actor at the age of five?

This is fun. Julian should guess first. Then his answer could be a potential guess at either existing question.

DRT born 1965. So his mother was born, let’s guesstimate, in 1930-35. So I’m looking for a Scottish actor born late twenties to late thirties. Sean Connery? (DoB 25 Aug 1930.)
