Just letting him know he had been sent down. It jumped into me head.

Now we have all had a good laugh at my expense perhaps we can get on with the serious business of writing out random Velvet Underground songs. (and I still think Daniel should have taken on Roy's bum).

Now you are being deliberately provoking. I do hope they still administered beatings when you were at your school with the 29 letters of the alphabet.

Nico was born as Christa Päffgen in Cologne in 1938.
Päffgen is also the name of a family of Kölsch brewers. So there is a connection to my earlier quiz question....

Perhaps I should get a dog. That would make me get out more. But I prefer cats, which are very independent creatures (unlike dogs)

I had a Douro DOC (Castello d'Alba Reserva 2009) and a glass of Churchill's Finest Reserve tonight (I will post TNs in due course)
You probably had much "grander" wines tonight.....

Shared a bottle of cut price prosecco then moved onto the other half of a bottle of £9 Krohn Colheita port. So I think you have the advantage of me there.

Cats don't care about you, dogs are needier but they are great at making you do stuff. I've got 2 dogs and if I come home and they're not here the house feels weirdly empty. Good mates me and my dogs, I talk to them a lot.

I shall remain 'bloodied but unbowed'.

And where's that errant lettuce briaser Daniel got to? he was here a moment ago. Probably gone to sautee a plum or some equally unlikely culinary adventure.

I think that dogs just love you because you give them food. You can give a cat food, but she or he will not love you for this. On the other hand, if a cat cares for you, then he or she really cares for you.

No, and it was a trap. All these are a little esoteric (but then they all are).

Cats are the ones that eat their owners when they die, dogs wait loyally like greyfriars bobby.

That's right you go running back to hide in Julian's skirts', but don't come round here next time he is out of town. I'm through with it.
