The Horati thing I am less convinced by.

This is a bit like the fast show sketch where the chap says things like; 'So they named the hospital after me; which was nice'

The Oath of the Horatii reminds me of being at college and having composition explained to us. The Death of Marat reminds me of Derek Jarman's parody of it in the film Caravaggio.

Over to Derek. 3 large pork pies and one small pork pasty with the leftovers. That's for pudding tonight.

That made me snort with laughter and generated an odd look from my other half.

Yeah whatever Derek, now I don't remember any tableaux in Carravagio, but where is the man himself (Alex) to give us all the backstory he can muster. Any Family legends? Old sketches in the attic?

I thought I was not to mention your work, last time you referred me to your office. (Sorry; I am aware of Mr Jarmans' work and it's fondness for tableaux, I was seeking a response. But I did not remember the Marat thing.)

While we wait for Derek, what are you drinking tonight? I'm back on my Cayetano Palo Cortado but I think I'm moving on to the Leitz Riesling. No VP open here tonight. Maybe a glass of LBV later.

Low rent Rhone. Just the thing for a rainy night, I have the option of a glass of Krohn Colheita 2000 (hence my concern regarding Taylors buy-out dicussed elsewhere on this forum) or a fifteen year old Blandys malmsey. Probably both.

It was indeed blue, but all points go to the winner. There are no points for second place in this game.

Make and model, but model would be adequate..

All answers so far are incorrect (apart from "blue")
