Conveniently I just logged on and have actually looked at Yamahas as potential purchases.
However I think you've already guessed at my end of the range. And I didn't take the time to thoroughly read the last 4 pages of guesses. So I'll just guess the bike I was looking into before I came to my senses.

Glenn, we're looking for bottom-of-the-range, step-through mopeds from the 1970s. In blue. So go crazy. He's already discounted all the really terrible ones. So it must be even worse.Glenn E. wrote:Conveniently I just logged on and have actually looked at Yamahas as potential purchases.

Re: One quiz at a time
The intervention was not actually from my family but from myself. I needed to walk away from time to time, wash; speak to others and the like. I can't actually guess at present but you have my sympathy about broken glasses. I broke an old favourite of mine a couple of weeks back and I miss it terribly. Riedel glasses on the other hand I break by coughing loudly near them and care not a jot for.djewesbury wrote:You are nearly there so stay with us. You just need to be more specific. I was all cross eyed and confused at work today though. And as I drove home I was thinking 'Derek must have had a fizzy' (Yamaha FS1E to the uninitiated). I know in the event I was wrong but it's a bit odd to be excited about identifying a moped belonging to someone most of thirty years ago who I have never met on a forum for the discussion of port. Isn't it?DRT wrote:We've all been there. Soldier on. Everything will be fine.LGTrotter wrote:I promised my family at an 'intervention' that I would go cold turkey on this thread
This is in no way a criticism of this thread, merely a comment on the 'psychology of the individual' as Jeeves would say.
