I've just been reading up about an extraterrestrial entity, which one? Any questions regarding location and size will be considered a turn but will be answered 'Yes' or 'No'.

Does that mean I am not allowed a turn until you declare others, who have not yet guessed, to be wrong?

No just until one of them has a turn, as per the rules of the thread.

That exploding star 13bn light years away
This isn't like trying to find a needle in a haystack, this is like trying to find a small collection of atoms in an infinite universe - Bridgeman's theorem says that this can't be done without a glass of port in hand.

The Moon
Go on Derek, ask another question so I can have another guess - I've got one more immediately on my mind.

Random exploding star - nope
In our Solar System - yes
The Moon - nope

Quick summary:
Not the Sun, The Moon, Mars, Ceres, Pluto nor a random exploding star, but is less massive than the Earth and in our Solar System.

Cruithne is sometimes (always wrongly) described as Earth's second moon. It is also described as chasing the Earth, also wrongly.
It is a large asteroid of about 5Km in diameter that has a year that is very close to that of the Earth but has a very eccentric orbit around the Sun, in comparison with Earth's very circular orbit. Cruithne crosses the orbit of Venus and touches that of Mars and is also on an inclined plane when compared with the planets, in the same way that Pluto's orbit is inclined and eccentric.
It is sometimes described as having a horseshoe orbit, which is verging in insanity. It's orbit more likely resembles a kidney bean, but only from the viewpoint of the Earth. Its orbit is very definitely elliptical.
It is cute.

I will give clues as we go along, but I do have the fear that this might prove a little difficult given my taste in music.
What was the last CD that I bought?

Since you had the last guess, I will not comment on your accuracy except to say that you are perhaps starting to look for the clues. Go back to the start and you might find what you are looking for.
Or, since Derek has just revealed his bust fascination, have a proper guess.
That's three clues now.

I was trying to combine your hobby with your normal attire whilst indulging in said hobby. The bust, though admittedly fascinating, was incidental.

On my Facebok page there are 5 people that share my birthday:
Simon Cowell, Sam Brown, Toni Braxton, Kevin Godley (of 10CC) and Alesha Dixon;
and 5 people that I have been told that I look like:
Glenn Tilbrook (of Squeeze), Stephen Pinder (Max Farnham from Brookside), Paul McCartney, Anders Jarryd (Swedish tennis player) and Nicky Campbell.
I have seen 3 of these people in the flesh, one of them once, one many times and the third many many times - which three?
