It's a reasonable price for a darn good port. If I was buying port - which, of course, I am not - I'd be tempted.

I think it should be alright to bring up Daniel's otter, which I have a space on the fridge for, next to the one he did with pasta and glitter.

Thanks Owen. Nice to know someone appreciates my talents. Otters don't just photoshop themselves you know.

No, please don't tell me. It was a rhetorical question to pass the time while I watch last Sunday night's American Football, sipping some Morgan 1991 while waiting for Aggers to return to the radio.

Oh I am stuck.
How about an otter related question. My friend has terrible trouble with an otter (he has commercial interests in fish). How much money (approximately) has he been known to carry in his van at night? Obviously the reason he carrys it would earn extra points.

Approximately £8 in change to pay for parking.

I will accept an answer to the nearest five hundred pounds, it is only at a particular time of year this happens. And I live in Somerset.

An opening, but derisory bid, no.

You will always be Rosa Clebb to me, no.
djewesbury wrote:£1500 to compensate enraged hoteliers and restaurateurs whose fish orders he cannot supply.
No, I did it though; there is a tenuous otter connection, unrelated to the answer.
DRT wrote:£25,000 to buy fresh fish at the early morning market?
Derek has overshot the mark, but is closest, please think of the answer, it is to do with the river Parret

I turned down Baz's Great Gatsby, thank God.
I don't get a sense that this is being thought through. A man into fish, on the river Parret, at a particular time of year.
I will accept the reason instead of the price.

He buys elvers from the fisherman when they are running. They cost a lot.

Jupiter has lots. Mars and Neptune have some, Earth has at least one, and even some of Saturn’s moons have them. What are they?
(I’ll accept the modern technical term, or the name presumably derived from the Simpsons, or a colloquial description.)

Though wrong, this is an excellent guess. None of Saturn’s moons have sub-moons: those orbits would not be stable.

Methinks that
The Times would prefer a capitalised definite article, and italics (here proxied by an oblique typeface). And if you want it in
a name-and-shame grumble thread, put it there.
And it’s wrong.
