Learning Gaelic ? (Or does your expressed exclusion of anything physical even prevent you from opening a textbook? :) )

You are closer. I did some Irish classes more than 20 years ago, I'm not doing any more at the moment.

If it's raining, then I see rain. But that's not what I was thinking of. It's there despite the weather.
PS: office means workplace, not the room in your home where you do your paperwork

The Hohenzollern Bridge?

Having looked at google I would think that trees and roads and some seventies brutalist architecture are most likely.

Street view version in Germany seems to have a lot of pixelated out areas. Thank God somewhere does not accept that google is entitled to every scrap of information available in the world.

Trees are part of the view. But they are not the main theme. Thank god I'm not looking on brutalist concrete architecture. Unfortunately, I'm looking out of a 1960ies brutalist building.

The Tunnel is the English remake of The Bridge. The opposite of The Bridge is The Killing.

Do you think Andre sees a miserable Scandinavian in a jumper looking at a corpse out of his office window?

No, it's not a building. But it's connected to religion nonetheless. At least there you can find religious services being performed.

In the meantime, I'll guess the Worringen cemetery?

I'm looking just for the name of the cemetery. It's among this list here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:C ... in_Cologne
It's quite an old one and was closed in 1876.

It's not Worringen.

Yes, that's it. Although it's a cemetery, it's a rather pleasant view with all the big trees. Sometimes you can even see squirrels running up those trees. It's a small green oasis in a desert of concrete and asphalt. And the dead are rather quiet neighbours. :)

Based on everything you told us in that last round I believe that you work in the building on the corner of Gymnicherstr. and Kerpenerstr. The one with the interesting concrete car-park on the corner, shown here.

I did something today that I haven't done for about 20 years.
