Deep red and looking promising. Mushroom and wet cardboard on the nose. A sip confirms the fear - this is slightly tainted by TCA. Not enough to destroy the wine but enough to leave it sharp and unpleasant on the palate. What a shame. NR. June 2015.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
