NV Quinta da Pedra Alta White (Light Dry)

Pale straw colour, gentle nose of sweet caramelised onion. Pleasant on the palate with surprising complexity and a very good balance. Lovely lingering aftertaste. There are not many basic white ports I would choose to drink not mixed with tonic but this is certainly one of them. 87/100. June 2015.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
