Cockburn vintage 1957

Post by Sten »

In December last year there was a discussion about a Cockburn 1957 here if it was OK. I bought the bottle and we had enjoyed it now. It was Cockburn on the cork and the Port Wine Institute label confirmed that it was genuine after contact with the Institute, just for your knowledge.

We have had a Great Tasting in our Club. This year it was Guimaraens 18 vintage from 1944-1998. If you are interested please see: http://www.vintageport.se

Merry Christmas

Sten,

I am always interested in reading about your tastings and I am sure I am not the only one. Please keep posting links to your articles on TPF as they remind me to go over vintageport.se from time to time.

Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

+1. I first visited vintageport.se only relatively recently and it is well worth delving into.
