NV Dow Master Blend

Mature red colour, 90% opaque. Gently fruity nose, a little muted. Slightly harsh entry with muddy fruit and a rather sharp mid-palate. The volume on the palate grows well but the alcohol shows strongly on the harsh aftertaste. Not a pleasant port. Sourced from Tesco. 75/100. Drunk 18-Nov-15. Pop 'n' pour.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
