1978 Kopke Colheita (bottled 2016)

Bottled 2016. Dark honey brown with a light rim, 10% opaque. Hesitant nose, a little honey and some bread dough. Light honey on the palate in a light texture. Elegant and sweet with a lingering honey finish. 87/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
