2005 Quinta da Romaneira

Cherry red colour with a medium rim. Restrained entry but with a lovely and perfumed mid-palate. Sweet fruit and huge tannins lead to a massive finish. Chewy tannins last for ages on the finish. 89/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
