2013 Quinta do Vale Meao

Deep crimson with a narrow rim. Pronounced nose, sweet and fruity. Round, sweet fruit on entry, very generous and with lovely esteva elements. Generous tannins in the very generous fruit. A lovely lingering finish, full of ripe pears, Lovely port. 91/100. Tasted 02-Mar-16.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
