NV Quinta do Sagrado Collections Tawny 10YO

Brick red, 30% opaque. Apples on the nose, stewed and sweetened with brown sugar. Sweet entry, smooth and with a good balance. Toffee apple flavours appear on the mid-palate with a good dose of apple acidity and some burnt sugar. Toffee and caramel fight with the apples on the long finish. This is a nice step up in quality from the entry level tawny. 86/100. 04-May-2016
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
