NV Quinta do Noval Tawny 10YO (bottled 2016)

Bottled 2016. A gentle rose colour, 20% opaque. Rather an odd nose, slightly soapy like the Noval White tasted alongside. Fruit and caramel impact on the palate with an interesting toasted coconut coming through on the mid-palate. A touch dry on the aftertaste with the tannins robbing the finish of much of the fruit. Not impressed. 84/100. Drunk 13-Feb-17.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
