NV Kopke White 30YO (bottled 2017)

Bottled 2017. Orange colour, 20% opaque. Delicate nose with sweet and candied fruit steeped in alcohol — a little like the smell of a rumtopf. Balanced and elegant entry with delicate flavours that includes a very fine quince paste on the mid-palate. Delicate and elegant with a lovely finish of gentle coffee. 91/100. 24-May-17.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
