Bottled by J Harvey & Son of Bristol. Deep red, rich and with a lovely appearance; 40% opaque. Little shows on the nose, just some hints of ripe fruit. Beautiful entry, bringing delicate fruit that is very fresh and attractive. The mid-palate shows substantial tannins remain but the whole palate is fresh and lively, full of lovely fruit. Fresh fruit dominates the aftertaste, followed by a wave of dry tannins which gives a huge chewy finish. This is a great Port which I may have underscored slightly. 92/100. Decanted 4 hours.
