Re: 1948 Niepoort Garrafeira
Bottled 1952, decanted 1973. Rich brick-red colour, 70% opaque. Delicious soft spiced bruised apple nose, lovely and inviting. Elegant entry with soft flavours of caramel and toffee apple. Rich and elegant palate, beautifully perfumed. A great burst of flavours on the aftertaste and a huge dry, flavoursome finish. 95/100. 12-Dec-18.
