Rozès 2011 LBV, unfiltered, bought from
Intermarché in Quettehou, Normandy, for €24.89. Decanted 2pm. Dark red; 85% opaque. Rather disappointing. Palate, light, red grape, grit, dry. There’s a brightness, perhaps absinthe, the dry grit dominant. Drunk 25th August 2020, in Streatham, remotely attending the
Emergency on Tuesday 25th August 2020.
Far worse than
the Rozès 2009 LBV tasted five days earlier.
