2018 Quinta do Crasto

Quinta do Crasto. Childhood blackberry picking memories come flooding back when you smell this wine. Such fragrance to the fruit on the palate, slightly green tannins give pepper and heat to the fruit. Good complexity to the palate. Blackberry sweetness flashes briefly across the mouth before the tannins return. Tasted blind. 93/100. 28-Apr-22.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
