NV Ramos Pinto Ruby

Drunk at the tasting room in the Ramos Pinto lodge after a tour of the museum and barrel cellar.

Ramos Pinto Ruby, a blend of about 3 years of age. Gentle flower perfume on the nose. Nice texture on the palate, sweet bramble fruit with a soft grip. Nicely fragrant. Medium weight palate; nice chocolate and sweet bramble finish. 85/100. Tasted 19-Jun-22.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
