One hour decant

99 per cent opaque, red rim

Cool blueberry and blackcurrant nose with no heat at first but a little alcohol showing at warmer room temperature.

Luscious entry. Syrupy summer fruit compote (attractive subvariant) on palate.

Lashings of sweet fruit on finish too. Then figgy pudding. Very little in the way of tannins showing until very late indeed. Warming but never fiery.

Very attractive wine. Obvious, but attractive.
