NV Quinta do Infantado Tawny 10YO (bottled 2021)

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled 2021 in half. Very slightly cloudy. Brick red colour. Slight nose of candied strawberry. Fresh on the palate, lightweight fruit, but which grows impressively on the mid-palate. The fruit is bitter, with a marked acidity to the wine. Powerful aftertaste of cranberry and bitters. Good length with a nice chew.  85/100. Tasted 17-Jan-23. Open 2 hours.
Top Ports in 2022: Quinta do Noval Nacional 1931. I have never drunk such a wonderful bottle of Port. I cried with joy.

2023: Fonseca 1966. There are not many better Ports, except a good bottle of Fonseca 1927. Wow!
