AHB's dilemma

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Please help me to solve my dilemma.

My glass is empty and there is no Morgan '91 left in the decanter.

There is about 90 minutes worth of workday port drinking time left.

What should I do?
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

Apologies for wasting 10 minutes of your available time. I wouldn't wait for another vote.

Do something. Do something now before it's too late!!!! :660000: :tpf:

This is what tawny is made for, but I'd go for the half.
Port is basically a red drink

I don't have any tawny, so I have gone for the half bottle option.

Put it in the blender
Or drink it through a long straw.

Is that the last Dow 83 half that you were saving so that we could do a 750 v 375 side-by-side tasting at TCP soon? :?

Or if you've got an aerator or aerating funnel, use it.

Or borrow Michael's nose clip that he uses for swimming.

That's the one. I was really worried that the bottle stink would spoil the tasting.

Sorry. I forgot and it was the first one on the shelf that had decent age

We can still do the 750 vs 375 tasting with Warre 83, 85, 97, 00, Malvedos 96 and FG 88...

...or even Smith Woodhouse 1980?
