1960 Taylor
Taylor 1960, bottled by Thomson of Leith. Poor cork, which fell into the bottle when the corkscrew was applied. Deep brick red with a slight green hint on the rim. Slightly oxidised on the nose, which dominates any other smells. On the palate the tiredness and oxidation dominate over a raspberry biscuit palate. Ripe fruit but quite dry on the palate, shortbread and brioche with a coffee finish. Served blind, this was guessed to be Taylor 1955. Not Rated.
