NV Messias Tawny 20YO

Messias 20YO Tawny. An attractive deep orange in colour with a hint of green on the rim. Citrus (orange) on the nose, ripe and sweet. Lovely tropical fruit on the palate, hints of mango. Served a little warm, the alcohol was very obvious and created some distracting heat. Delicious marmalade finish of great length with coffee on the late finish. Drunk on 14-August-2024. Served blind. Guess: Andresen 30YO White. 92/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
