1987 Fonseca Guimaraens Panascal

1987 Fonseca Quinta do Panascal, tasted 19-Feb-2025. Deep red, very youthful with a narrow rim. Youthful red fruit on the nose, a nose of attractive sweet red damsons. Sweet red fruit on the palate but with a backing of big, bold tannins. Vibrant black and red fruit finish. sweet, youthful and with lots of life alead of it. 89/100.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
