Grant of St James’s bottling. Purchased with MSC last year.
Capsule not in great condition. Cork broke. Decanted for 6hrs before consumption.
Very dark toffee colour. Huge taste of aniseed and prunes. Blueberries and dates also present.
This improved and was very balanced circa 7hrs after decanting.
A really pleasant wine. Probably at towards the end of its drinking window.
