Red cherries and toffee on the nose. Slightly lightweight entry that disguises the heft that comes into the mid palate. Toffee, milk chocolate and redcurrants lead the way, but a wave of tannins wash that away, leading to a mineral and peppery finish that's slightly ruined with a bit too much heat. Good (would be v good without that heat). Edit. This has had some more time and air and it's now lovely - blueberries in the entry and the heat has calmed down. V good.

Given 1pt towards WOTN.
