I appear not to have had a bottle of this port for almost three years. Why not? I have lots, and it’s delicious mid week drinking.
Cork a disaster even with Durand Port Edition.
Strawberry rather than garnet shade.
Musky strawberry and caramel nose.
Toffee and caramel on palate.
Aftertaste a bit odd. Clipped.
Slightly corked. Damn.
