I love this port’s immediate appeal.
Popped, decanted and poured for QA.
40% opaque, nose promising chocolate cherries in kirsch.
Sweet palate of poached strawberry, red soft licorice, and some warm aniseed late.
It will be better in a couple of hours, but you really can pop and pour if need be.
