W55. Bottled by Hedges & Butler. A very attractive mature bronze colour, 70% oaque. Soft spiced and sweet red fruit on the nose. Such a delightful elegance on the palate although with less intensity than the Graham tasted alongside. The elegance of Warre comes through very nicely on the palate. There is a slight bitter juniper tone to the aftertaste and finish but this wine is absolutely delightful. 92/100
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
