D88 LBV, from Harry, at 1 hour decant. No sediment. Dark dark red, 80% opaque. Nose musty, dark cherries behind. Palate strongly bitter, some cherry fruit still present but only slightly, and a cheering spearmint mid to late palate. I think this will improve with air.
Edit, a few hours later. With air the bitterness has much softened. It is quite dry — Dow! — but the fruit is almost completely gone. It is soft and charming, mid-to-light weight, with a touch of absinthe. Drinkable with pleasure. Indeed, beign drunk with pleasure.
