Pale red into an orange/brown rim. Nice clean bottle with no cloudiness in the glass.
A pleasant sweetness on entry which quickly gave way to red-fruit, which was quite citric, and which lacked in heat. Then the tannins faded into a syrupy, spiced and figgy-chutney kind-of finish. This is really very lovely indeed.
