1996 Quinta do Vesuvio

Deep purple rim.

Big blowsy blue fruited nose. Big golluping juicy palate. Still somewhere in the primary spectrum. Attractive port. Not in the same league as the 1994, but you don’t need to wait, and drinkable with considerable pleasure.

Also had this.
Agree with George - good, but definitely not as good as the 94. Also, not as good as the 95 at the recent horizontal. Still nice though.
